Our team at Cynosure Creative Agency won the pitch to build a social campaign including strategy, content and design for Mr. & Mrs. Smith for Prime Video. I brainstorms concepts with the team, built out the look and feel for this campaign and oversaw every asset we delivered. Throughout this campaign we focused on humor, humanity, and storytelling. The client was thrilled with the results and asked us to pitch again on Season 2.
The idea for this series of social cut-downs was based on a relatable question all spies must address at some point: Which is riskier, the mission or the relationship?
As a fun social play, we pitched a series of AV edits that leaned in to the social trend “How it started vs. How it’s going.” Below are a few samples of the edits. The look and feel for the motion graphics was created by me, and I art directed all editing and graphics for these assets.
Our team created a series of supercuts to introduce Jane and John, as well as their relationship. I art directed all editing, pacing, and music.
We elevated the typography and style for select scenes to make them more engaging on social by using animation, hierarchy, color, and rotoscoping. The look and feel was created to loop with a seamless transition for social.
The show won instant critic attention, and our team built out several assets to showcase the positive reviews. From static images to cinemegraphs, gifs, and video edits.
This first video was a compilation of critic reviews.
For this fan review, we took tweets and composited it onto Jane’s computer, and built out an edit that playfully shows John and Jane responding to fans.
We also created a series of static reviews to build excitement and engage fans on social media.
We took still images from marketing content and animated them to create engaging cinemegraphs by using a combination of rotoscoping, light motion, and atmosphere.
